Thanks! But, that is way more @dilbert than me. I was just getting itchy around here with the bad drivers and blocked brake light.

Right on! Same here, but most of my ideas revolve around walking and chewing gum at the same time.

I sure do love the 'Denim' color and wish it was around in 2017. The Sport in that color definitely needs the black flares and chin like the OR though. It looks like @DeusExMachina did that for the flares.

Cavalry Blue is my favorite color and they discontinued it in 2020...this isn't it, but it's close. :D It's wrapped in Avery Smoky Blue. Flares are wrapped satin black. The car was MGM and some day in the future it will be again.:spy:

    Whoa! Nice work.

MGM was the other color that was available in an MT when I was shopping around. Unfortunately while it is a great color, it believe it is the same color shared for our Forester. I came close to holding out for Quicksand, but BR really worked.

I thought about a nice dark blue matte wrap, but damn kids are vacuums for money and attention.

Softopper content so not a complete hijack? I haven't decided if I want to keep the chin blue or black like the OR/Pro.

OT BS is always cool, IMHO. BRB . . . gotta fix that title.

That is a wicked wrap! My vote is that the chin needs the black to break it up a bit. For whatever reason, I have the same thoughts on QS and SuperWhite.

Thanks! This was the only 6MT ACLB 2020 in the state when I was buying. Since Cav Blue wasn't a question, I really wanted Cement, but didn't want to order it. MGM was a great other choice but since I had a nice new truck I wanted to protect the paint and have my favorite color. No kids means I can spend money on stupid stuff.

Yeah the flares definitely needed to be black, it was way too much blue. The chin's like $100 and the dealer drilled into this one, so I'll pick one up eventually.

I was certainly lucky to have three locally to look at. So far, I am as happy as I could be with this one and the dealer that I worked with. Still, I'm looking forward to this last oil change at the dealer.

Cement is a lusty color also. The wrap will really help with the protection. I am trying to not buff out pinstripes as long as I can take it. Only twice so far. There will probably come a time when it might need some clear coat. Hahaha!

The kids are really good, and that drives them getting a big say in things. Soon though, they will launch the fuck outta here. :D

Since it is already drilled, the plate might solve it?

I hate front plate mounts and do something like this with our cars:
    IMG_20180423_154013.jpg

Drilling the plate reuses the original bumper holes. Just a thought.

    Hey, Folks.

I finally had a chance to camp out of the Softopper. It was everything that I had hoped it would be. Effortless setup and no wet tent to mess with.

I used a doubled up camp pad to keep the cold out, a used Thermorest on the bottom and my softly inflated Exped on the top. My 20deg bag did great in slightly below freezing and wet conditions.

I have no real pics of the set up, but there was nothing amazing to see either. Parked at camp:
    IMG_20200216_162136.jpg

The ST works great with an HF motorcycle carrier though. I was worried that wide bars with barkbusters would hit the window. Plenty of space:

    IMG_20200214_170143.jpg

I think that pretty much wraps it up for me in this thread.

Nice! Did you have a platform or just sleep between the wheel wells?

    Thanks!

Since it is just me, I slept between the wheel wells. I didn't even pull out my rolling storage box. There was plenty of room and I am not small.

I do have some notched 2x8s for 2nd tier loading if I ever want to try a platform. Being able to sit up was pretty nice though.

This was when I was figuring out a power source for the 'mood' lighting. You can see the storage box:
