    Hey guys,
So I have a 2012 tacoma, doing some fender cutting and body mount chop but somethings kinda caught my eye maybe someone has already figured it out, idk.

I’ve ripped out the inner lining and honestly don’t want to use that flimsy plastic anyways. When removed it just caught a TON of mud.(I drive logging roads almost year round)

but now the inner fender is completely exposed and don’t really now how I like it.

so, has anyone modified sheet metal or rubber mat to block the mud and shit to get up in there waay better than the cheap plastic shoved up there oem??

if there’s any threads or if someone has done this before, chim in! thanks

No help on what to do but remember that the air intake is in the passenger side dead space between the fender and liner so you may get a lot of crap sucked in now.

I've spent the last week researching this. Seems the best solution is 1/8" abs sheets and clip nuts. Make a cardboard template first. I am in the process of building some now. Like most things in life, I'm sure it's easier said than done. This is a picture of someone else on Tacomaworld. Again it's not my truck, but what I am trying to replicate. IMG_5001.jpg
