I am assuming that the thread locker goes on the threads locking the wheel spacer to the hub and NOT the threads for the lug nuts after putting the rim on, correct?

Also, will thread locker prevent you from getting the spacers off in the future if looking to trade in or sell truck?

Well I have a pair of 1" spacers if you want them. No need to wait for them to be machined and made.

Lol. I can respect that bud  whatever gives you peace of mind. I'm just a firm believer of the German torque spec. Guttentite.

Torque wrench? The only rhing I torque is the wheels, the rest if the suspension setup is tightened to my own gauge.

Two spacers on each side? What makes you think that? Lol. Just on on each hub man. :)

What I really need to do is start marking my LCA cam bolts for when I wheel just in case they move I can reset it right back to where the known good spec was. Lol.

Yeah its crazy how far the hub sticks out before any spacers get mounted to it.

Thanks for pointing out the ET lug nuts, that's a great little piece of advice that will go a long way towards keeping the wheels secure.
Is there a certain amount of torque that is enough or too much?

85-90 ft. lbs. torque for the tires.

Just for the record, I have not used ET lugs as I felt that on the spacer the mounting surface for the actual hub shanks themselves were more then suffice with the amount of thread engagement they had.

Thanks for the torque numbers. As far as et lugs, I was just thinking about the actual wheel lug nuts not the spacer nuts.
P.S. My wife is clowning me because I'm talking about nuts with a bunch of dudes. Lol

Yes I do. Bora 1". PM me if you want em.

The nuts on the spacer themselves do not any extended thread engagements, then again, if they are stock I'm sure it wouldn't help to switch. I run spline lug nuts and they are naturally. Little longer.

What are the torque specs for the nuts holding the spacer to the hub? Glad I found this thread. I've been wondering the same thing. I' probably order some spidertrax tm.

I believe because it's 12mm, that 70lbs is the correct requirement. On the spacer to hub. 75-85lbs? on wheel to spacer.

Another positive vote on Discount Tire. They had no issues working on my FJ with spacers.

    Replacement rims and tires
    Hi guys,
I just installed Fuel assault D567 rims 17X9 with a -12 offset and Micky Thompson tires 265/70R17. I think factory rims were 16X7 with tires 256/70R16. I called there seller they confirmed it will fit and they do but I got one issue that's driving me nuts, yes the lug nuts. New wheels are co-centric nuts and they don't thread in all the way to stock wheel studs call the seller they send me extended wheel lug nuts put them on and still the little too short I forget I will install longer wheel studs because I went from a 16 7 to the 179 so there's not enough stud going through the wheel and that's a concern to me everybody's saying put spaces but I don't think that's logical I think putting in the wheel studs giving that extra length would it be a better option than anyone please advise thanks
