It’s the same radio so yes. I have the max 6. But radio is the same so check both threads. The 2nd gen was has more about fitment but anything about the radio use both. This one has more replies.

Mines the same way. I did add an update for a newer version and added dual. Screen support. It’s been better but still does take awhile or not connect from time to time

Pretty sure I just got a faulty unit, basically the screen reacts as if its "touched" but nothing is actually touching it. So when I have carplay it just messes with my map, but its a nuisance when i actually want to use it.

Ill post a vid when I get the chance.

Right but he seemed to say he mapped a steering wheel button to launch fcam. I haven’t found anyway yet to map either the headunit buttons or steering wheel keys to the fcam app or the front camera

The face buttons are kind of a pain. Steering wheel is easier. I have to go look at the headunit to remember exactly what I did. I know there was a setting in one of the tabs of the factory settings that said canbus or swc. You switch that, let it restart then use the stock app to change it. You'll have to setup all of the buttons. Go and change the menu setting back. You should still be able to make changes after that.

I’m trying to order the px6 from AliExpress and I need to know I’ve got the right “color”. It’s the CB004 with CarPlay and I’m also assuming it has the canbus controller based on the picture.

Thanks, I have been able to get the mapping part to work and remapped all the wheel keys and the headunit buttons. However within that, I havent found a way to map to the app or front cam. If you figure out which routing selection you made to map to the fcam app that would be great to find out.

Can you tell me more about your experience. Things that bother me the most are

    1. Phone functions. i found this pretty abysmal. contact sharing was crap, and I ended up using mtcdialer so i could at least ask google to make calls. This worked so so, as sometimes it would work fine for weeks on end, and then one day stop working. The freaking ring tone would scare the living shi* out of me everytime id get a call when not expecting it.

Maybe the px6 handles all this better?

i wish there was an easy way to get texts on the unit. I ended up using an app called "Join" which mostly worked.

You want that or cb005 I need to check but you want the canbus version that’s for sure which is the 2nd or 4th option.

    steering wheel button programming option.

I have mined programmed for long hold Mode button on left side of steering wheel. Just remember when you program the buttons, you will have to reassign each steering wheel buttons again. For example up and down volume button or call button. Hope that helps.

The fcam now works like my old car solution fcam.

sorry didn’t read all the posting. Yes I mapped the long hold key to fcam.

The fcam is in the steering wheel key app. When you reprogram you’re key theres a front camera icon. the fcam icon looks different from the purple app icon in the main unit layout. You’ll have to stroll down when selecting a function for that key

So I started looking on ebay for new ones and not 100% what to look for. Most posts just say "oem". Is there something to look for?

it would be the premium or Nav radio bezel that you need. try to find it used as it’s not a cheap bezel from comments I’ve seen. Someone should be able to link you. I don’t have part ids. But if that listing stated it has to be the premium Nav version. Entune and plus is what you currently have.

On mine you can adjust the volume while in reverse. I think it's on the factory settings joint.
