Damn sick rig dude! Love it! That Icon setup sounds like a drastic departure from your originally proposed budget. How long have you had it complete and how pleased are you? I’m so sick of my overly harsh ride with the 885s and Nitrochargers...and that’s with an off-road bumper....

You're supposed to run 5100s at the lowest (no preload) setting with 885s. Otherwise you will really mess up your ride quality. Gives about 2.5" on 2nd gen, not sure if its different on 3rd gen

This is the same setup I'm thinking about, tons of info here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bilstein-5100-w-ome-885.409929/

Rather than start ANOTHER thread on this topic, I'll just hijack this one and get ya'lls thoughts.....

I'm currently running 885 springs with top plate spacers on my 2015 4x4 V6 DCSB. Since putting the lift on 2 years ago I've added, heavier AGM Battery, Steel sliders, aluminum skids, aluminum low-profile bumper, and winch with synthetic line. Obviously has sagged a little adding the weight so I want to ad a little height. My gut is to go with 886s but I feel like I am right on the edge of having added enough weight to justify the heavier spring rate. Sliders are obv heavy but are distributed all over not just in the front. Full aluminum skids weigh 50#, Bumper and winch weight just under 100# and the battery probably weighs 20# more than stock.

What do you think? Should I order 886s or 887s? Either way I will likely take the top plate out.
