Tundra style tow mirrors?

Has anyone seen or had any experience with these yet? Looks like a good looking alternative to clip-on or Ram style mirrors.

I'm looking forward to seeing them installed on someone's truck. I dont need any yet but I'm looking to buy a camper this summer so just doing my research now.

And couldn’t be happier. They do vibrate a little when flipped out but nothing crazy. The power functions work as they should, they’re bolt right up and are completely plug and play. I kinda wish I had done the heated ones now tho.

 

I've looked at those online but I'd like to see some in person. Are they as big as actual Ram mirrors or are they scaled down for the Taco?

 

They are full size ram mirrors the only thing that’s changed is the mounting and wiring to fit a Tacoma.

 

They are pretty large. When closed they are significantly larger than stock. But not many options for our trucks

I like. The look of these. But I don’t like that they don’t have the secondary mirror On the bottom. I like being able to see the ground more at times.

that’s why I miss the stock mirrors. The are curved so when parking you can see the lines and not look like a student driver

I keep the tow mirrors out now for that very reason.

 

Question about the heated mirrors on Tacoma’s. I have a 15 SR with convenience package. My mirrors have indicator lights. Anyone know if all the plugs have wiring for the heater option?

 

There's no stock wiring for the heater option. You'd have to run a separate switch

I'm not positive but it looks like they have two separate mirrors just like the tundra OEM tow mirrors.

 

Are those just aftermarket GMC/Chevrolet style towing mirrors that are designed to fit a tundra?

For anyone doing research into these mirrors (like I was), buyer beware. Apparently they don't fit Tacomas, despite being advertised that they do.
