The other day while greasing my drive line I noticed a lot of play in my rear most U joint. So I did what I would normally do to fix the problem, search the internet. To my surprise I couldn't seem to find anything conclusive on the correct part and the correct number I need. I have a 2000 4x4 Extended cab with the 3.4L. I counted what I am pretty sure was a total of 6 U joints under my truck. 4 in the rear section (2 on either side of the carrier bearing) and 2 for the front section.

So with that being said, should I replace all the U joints as I have seen suggested? What is the part I should be replacing it with, I have seen Spicer and Moog recommended for the brand but there seemed to be no consensuses on the part number? Should I replace the carrier bearing at the same time?

I'm trying to find the same info. My u-joints wont take new grease, I'm guessing they've not been serviced in awhile so I figure with all this down time might as well do all the maintenance possible! If you had any luck finding specs and/or part numbers let me know!

being under the California quarantine I have plenty of time but not alot of cash. Any chance you have the specs on the parts needed? Or at least the other u-joints so i can get them replaced? Thanks!
