Well I have to remove myself from the list. Buddy's Dad just passed and we are having a celebration of life at the pub that day...highly unlikely I will be sober.
Sorry fellers! Hope there will be others.

Usually about once a month. There is usually a big one in April with a few other clubs too.

Errrr, but you do have a winch bumper and a sh$tload of holes in your truck!

That Stock Taco-hymen has gone pop, my friend...

People know you're on Tacomaworld when you park at Home Depot..... Can't hide it any more...
Overland boys are rubbing their nipples as they walk by.

Besides weren't you going to skip 35's and go right to 40's?

well the minimum requirement is (was?) 35s, and i currently do not surpass the minimum. 40s is something in the far far far far far farfarfarfarfarfarfarfar future that is most definitely not a possibility of happening!
But yes, doing a 30-40 jump is the most logical to do, since if
and that's a BIG if i'd be cutting up the bed anyways, might as well go big or stay home since the 30s wont rock crawl like @Norilsk does

    :D

But i also drive a AT which has no balls to rotate 40s... so i'd need to convert it to a MT at the least.

Nah just do the OVTune twin-turbo mod so you can hear whoosh noises when you wheel. The AT can hold 500 lb-ft all day with no slip.

The engine swap was just me being fictitious. The effort to engine swap would require me to do it as a full time job if i remotely want to complete the task in a reasonable time.

The OVTune + turbo set up is heck of a lot easier :p

Engine swap to the diesel is easy....

    :spending:

    https://dieseltoys.com/tacoma-diesel-conversions

    1KD-FTV 6SPD MANUAL 4x4
    • RA61 6SPD MANUAL TRANSMISSION
    • 188hp 310 lb/ft Torque @ 2,200rpm
    • 1KD-FTV 3.0 COMMON RAIL TURBO DIESEL
    • VNT TURBOCHARGER

I figure I'll put one of these in so I don't have to worry about a re-gear when I put my 42" tires on...

Then drive past Norilsk's place repeatedly at 4am .... Yelling out "Putin love me more than you!"
    :mudding:

Don't worry I'll install the turbo-whistle too, gotta take those overland points where you can... Twin Turbo's....

Lol yup, you have to plan your "acceleration" events with a diesel.

Had a diesel Opel in Europe... lol gas pedal was only in two positions, off, and me with both feet on it trying to push it through the firewall.....

No mud flaps, and a cool sticker.
I've got a weird one here folks... where is the rock magnet for the windshield hooked up? I need to disconnect it. I did 325k on my old golf and needed 1 windshield. I've had this tacoma for 20k and I'm on my second, before that my dad replace 4 or 5. Is this just bad luck or do i need to install a second plexiglass windshield.

I'm gonna need to make an app like fuelly, but for windshields. gonna keep track of my windshields per km

Compare angles of both windshields and you'll have your answer.
I'm at 20k now after 6 months of ownership (yesterday to the date) and I have two big chips (no crack so far) and already seeing that sandblast effect when driving after dark...
