Good idea but how many clocks do you need ?

 

Repurposed my old Rotopaks mounts and mounted them to the Bedslide.

Been wanting to chop these for years. Finally did it today, so much cleaner & there’s no chance of them hitting the frame now at full compression. (Ubolts)

 

At least there’s some decent flex and cool stuff going on. It isn’t just 3 trucks flexing on rocks 8 inches off the ground with $4000 in accessories bolted to them. That blue Jeep just finished a one ton donor swap. My buddy did all the work himself. Pretty gnarly little rig

 

I just got the scoop painted, and then had the hood painted separately

 

Not really what I did today, but the whole week. Took my taco on to Toyota (last time I go there unless absolutely necessary) for a full inspection (was overdue). Found out I had a snapped in half rear leaf spring (, 2nd leaf, no my truck doesn't qualify for the recall absolutely pissed about that) , my front diff needle bearing needs replacing (though not needed to be done right this minute but definitly over the next month) and I'm pretty sure my CEL/Trac off is on because of the useless secondary air injector sticking. Toyota wants 1300 to repair the broken leaf (fucking ripoff) and 590 to repair the bearing (another fucking ripoff). Gonna keep an eye on the air injector.

Good news! I told Toyota to go somewhere else regarding the leaf spring, and will be upgrading everything to OME this Friday! . The bearing I can do myself or get a buddy to help me out with. I may even get the shop installing my suspension to do it as well since they will just have to pull off cv axle so not much more in labour. Not sure yet.

 

Sorry if it has already been asked but where did you get these from?

Not today but in the last few weeks, I installed the 3° retarded exhaust cam gears from @mightytacoman and uploaded a tune from @JustDSM and @nd4spdbh if you have been on the fence about either of these mods do it now it is like a new truck after throwing all the weight and 35s at it.

Buddy works at the dealer delivering parts so he gets the hook up.

Are those cam gears beneficial for all 4.0's or just for supercharged engines? What's the benefit of them? Thank you!

 

Who said I didnt? But in all seriousness it was pretty easy.

Flushes the cylinder more completely during the exhaust stroke, thus allowing for more fresh on the intake stroke, has to do with the exhaust reburn efforts by Toyota to improve emissions output.

And my truck is stock, with no boost makers because I am way to cheap for that road.

 

Didn't do much put picked up fox 2.0s for the rear to match my kings that are coming

 

My wife thought the same thing when I baked mine. Lol
