Bought a certified used Tacoma from Bill Dube Toyota in Dover NH back in October.

First time I used the tonneau cover, this happened.

The 12 month comprehensive warranty states that parts that fail due to manufacturers defects are covered.

Both Toyota customer care and the dealership told me pound sand. Quoted $1000.00 for a new cover, 3 months after buying the truck.

How is this not a manufacturers defect? It’s obviously a casting defect.
