When and where would you like to go? What kind of a rider are you? I'm quite capable, both uphill and down (although I'm not a fan of jumping and crazy downhilling with large drops, 3-4 feet is probably the largest drop I am comfortable with).

I usually ride in the Park City area, there are lots of great trails, and the temperature is usually about 15 degrees cooler than in Salt Lake. I know a quite a few trails both in Park City, and some on the Salt Lake side, and depending on your riding style, I'm sure we can find something fun for both of us!
If you are more downhill oriented and don't want to leave Salt Lake, Bobsled is good fun, and the climb isn't too bad if we shuttle with two vehicles.
If you also know some trails which you like, I'd be happy to take your suggestions, I have only been mountain biking in Utah for a month, and there is so much which I have yet to do, and am eager to learn of!

I will be riding 1-2 times between Thursday (today) and Saturday, so if you (or anyone) would like join me, and there is a day/time that works best for you, let me know in this thread, or via PM, and we can meet up, I'm pretty flexible at the moment.

Anytime you (anyone) want to go for a ride, just shoot me a PM!

While I would prefer to do some of the 5-6 rated trails, a lot of the people here dont have built up trucks to handle that and many still stock. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that none of us has the experience to guide others through a 5-6 rated trail. Inexperience + difficult trails would pretty much guarantee damage and breaking things, where these are our daily drivers for most, not really a good thing.

There really isn't a whole lot of 5+ rated stuff in Northern Utah, unless visiting 5 mile pass - Rattlesnake/Constrictor. Maybe Mineral Basin, but I believe thats probably closer to a 4. Cat Canyon and some stuff by Delta would probably be a 5-7.

I know I'm not ready to do it with out a strong guide to help me, so I'm far from ready to try to lead others up. Dont really see many people with years of experience offering to teach and lead us though, so we have to do it the hard way.

the steps and obstacles usually look alot more intimidating than they are. But once you get past something that you swore your truck couldn't do (like mine) your ready for more!!!

If my truck can do 5+ trails im positive everyone elses truck can too... I have no lift, and a little 4 banger.. the only thing saving my ass is how short my wheel base is... But with everyones 3" lift im sure the DC's will do fine, just get some rock sliders :D
