Need advice

Hi folks, Need advice. I’m an older guy and do not care how my truck looks, but how it performs to my needs/uses. I have a 2018 SR-5, DCSB. My Aussie and I do a lot of hiking and use logging roads here in Oregon. I definitely need a better rear bumper, better headlights, also cab inside lights. I need an upgrade tire with better traction. Not sure if I should go with 16 or 17 wheels and how wide for the tires, which brand? I do a lot of switchback turns to get to my cottage and can’t see the corners. Need recommendations, also for the fog lights. Will do the work myself so need options I can figure out.

What kind of rear bumper are you looking for?

 

Something that will protect the corners, and allow me to easily connect lights,etc, saw a piece meal Dissent video that looked like it may work. The present one has plastic, I back into things on the logging roads

 

Nice, there are plenty of options out there. Almost all the fabricators have a basic steel bumper that protects the corners as well. Usually they have options for light cutouts or whatever you need back there. If you search around here a bit you’ll find something that fits your needs.
