Everybody is better then pat’s,Geno’s and tony Luke’s they are all tourists traps. Dallesandro‘s and chubbies are the two better ones in Roxborough

Just wondering , I’m not from that area so I don’t know just sayin. I always hear pats and genos . I’ve been to pats and like them, but I’ll take a locals advice because they know best usually

 

Dalessandros is the BEST. I've had them all.

 

So what is the one to get ? What’s most popular what’s the original ?

The thing about them is that they are not located in "South Philly" which is supposedly the nexus for the "real" cheese steak. That said, if your looking for something in that zip code then Jim's would be my recommendation.

If you look at Philadelphia as a whole then Dalessadros beats them all hands down. But they are located in the Manayunk Section of the city which is further away from the "tourist" areas..
