The retaining stock bumper is only good in concept until you really think about that gap is going to be a dirt, mud, and gunk catch which means your stock bumper is still going to end up scratched and not looking good should you decide to remove the blitz.

Yeah, I see the lines are not perfect. But that is the worst angle possible for the blitz. Also understand the gap getting filled with sand and grit causing chafing on bumper cover. But on other bumpers you would be cutting the plastic off though. That's why we have options with our tacos.

I like it from the front and easy install.

Anybody purchase a Grand Teton roof rack from Sherpa Equipment Company?

It looks pretty beefy with 1/4” aluminum and uses a unique roof mounting system. It’s priced at just under $800 for the powder coated version.

On thing I wish they did different are the legs for the camper rack so that you have more room to adjust up or down to level with the cab rack. My camper rack sits about a quarter of an inch lower than the cab rack and the fairing on the back of the cab rack is getting damaged or damaging things when I put them up there.

@monkeyevil what are these holes for? I can only imagine they’re for scene lights given their even spacing around the rack. Is there a specific light that would fit in these slots? I was gonna start searching around and wire some up.

I was thinking about getting some beveled washers from Home Depot to angle lights down. I’ve got a bunch of these cheap LEDs from Amazon but they’re straight.

    22C10A80-D619-4410-ACA7-6ABFCD981830.jpg

If I added a beveled washer I think these would look very low profile and add just enough light to see around the truck at night.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Victory 4x4 has cab racks for access cab trucks.

Haven't seen that with other manufacturers, however it has been a few months since I've really dug around looking.

I've got some the Bed Molle pannels from Victory, they look great and haven't let me down so far.

Yep, tech support is on it

They are for tie-down hooks. But obviously you could use them for whatever.

I run these lights on my rack, they are very nice, but the flush back means they kind of sit on top of two of my crossbar bolt heads.
    https://www.rigidindustries.com/led-scene-light-led-scene-light.html

    They require drilling.

I wasn't really on the forum over the weekend no :D

For those that have bought these racks (or are thinking of buying them) would the ability to mount scene lights on the side be something you would like to see? We could easily add holes to mount a light like this that would straddle a crossbar. If you already have our rack these could be easily drilled using the gasket as a template.

Yeah that seems like a good idea. Do you have a link to those RV lights? I can't seem to find the link again. How bright are they? Should I try to do 2 on each side or just 1? I'll bet we could tap them into the Dome-Rock module so they key-on when you unlock the truck. Would beat the need for puddle lights on the mirrors.

    Edit: found them! https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...ility-light-700-lumen/5568/9848/#tab/overview

Could anyone tell me what size bolts I’d need to get that would fit into the rail system? @monkeyevil is this something I can find locally at Lowe’s or Home Depot?

Sorry that its not the best pics but you can see I added scene lights over the rear doors. I ended up making a bracket (piece of bar stock alum. drilled to accept bolts from lights) to sandwich the side rail of the rack. It goes directly over the rear most cutout in the side rail. If you guys were to pre drill scene light mounting holes that would be cool. I wonder how you would make it a universal fit for various types of lights? I've seen the Rigid flush mounts as you have @monkeyevil. After close comparison I went cheap and got the Kaper brand lights from Amazon for $23 each and I must say I have been really happy with them. Link - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DNDJM9/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8

They're durable, weatherproof and very bright. I ordered another another pair to become bed lights and two more for a @victory4x4 bed topper rack that is in my future.
