This times a million... unless you do the .5th stud or 6 shooters. Or you’ll end up like me my first trip on the rubicon with 3 broken studs on one knuckle and bunch more lose... took a welder and bunch of tie downs to make it off the trail.

Yeah, knuckle gussets and six shooters are on the list, just not the short list for this trip. I'll keep an eye on them

I just got caught up in this build after a few months. Do you have any kind of solid or bomb-proof mounts for your engine or transmission?

Also, you should start making a list of things that you need to torque down regularly, especially the steering arms.

I hope you used red loctite on that rear main seal housing. I recently learned the hard way.

Got back from Georgetown yesterday afternoon since we ran the trail from Tahoe. Had a blast, mule kicked ass. With our convey being nine deep it took us almost 11 hours from the time we aired down to when we hit Loon. Had one hour stop for a ujoint fix on a jeep and probably two hours total waiting on traffic. On Saturday we went from the property up to spider for a swim and on the way back my buddy noticed my front driveline was wobbly. Got underneath and saw that when I had it rebuilt they only tack welded it instead of running the full bead. WTF and shame on me for not noticing it. Decided to pull it before it completely broke and weld it up back at camp. Back at camp we got into the cups and said F it, we'll just drive out in 2wd. Left yesterday morning about 8:30 and got off the trail about 10. Aired up and drove home. Whole lotta fun as always!

Square driveshaft is what you need. I now have it in front and rear, no more bent driveshafts.

I run them full time since I never plan on driving it on the street, but it is pretty simple to swap the rear at the trailhead and exit. Leaving the front on full-time will not really matter.

I’m thinking of this for my front driveline. Was researching it today actually.

Totally worth it for maybe $20-30 in metal. Definitely better than $300 every time you smash another driveshaft.

Definitely doing this for the front. I'm having this one done up with .250 and then building a square one for a spare.

Bought an adventure tool roll. This thing is quality. I went through and tidied up my tools. That's all the shit needed to fix a yota :p

I really dig this thing. 1/2" deep socket set on the left side. Tie rod pullers, metric 4-17 set, allen wrench set, and other random things on the right side. Top section has fuel line, air line , zip ties, hose clamps, etc. I put my ratchet wrench roll in the middle when closing it up. Rolled up it easily fits in my bed tool box which my other one didn't.

It was kind of expensive but I would definitely purchase again.
