I guess I just don't even see any gas stations that have anything but those brands you mentioned

Shell, Chevron and other majors are all Top Tier. Watch out for places like 7-11 gas (if they still carry gas) or Safeway and Kroger (they don't advertise as Top Tier). Surprisingly, Costco is Top Tier.

Racetrack stations are popular in the South and they do not sell Top Tier gas. Costco does sell it.

I won't say anything to make anyone mad, but it's not OEM because it is not needed for reliability or durability.
    It's not.

I believe in them, just installed one. You can re-use one of the screws along the side of the engine bay to attach the catch can, I just drilled the whole in the catch-can bracket a little wider.

Here is where I installed mine. Notice I used a screw that is already present; I didn't have to purchase a bracket. You need to remove the oil collection basin to access it, tighten it, then screw the bottom basin back in.

I bought this Catch Can (don't use the breather as you need a vacuum AND it wont fit if you install where I did):

I also bought this hose (I would order 2 to be safe)

Three years old, 35k miles, my truck. Never had the intake tube off, always replaced the air filter with OEM at 12k.

This oil left a trail into the throttle body and tb flapper.

This is the residual stuff that a proper catch can will collect before it goes into the intake and the throttle body.
