I haven't seen anybody on this thread mention Hubcaphaven.com for spec information on OEM wheel/rims. They have a pretty comprehensive list of Tacoma wheels. You can also do a search for just about any other make or model of vehicles. Here's what they have for the 3rd gen. Off Road:

I tried using that site linked earlier in the thread, but it seems to have some bad info. Anybody know if our 6-lug wheels are compatible across generations or did the specs change? I have a 1st gen 6 lug and am trying to figure out what all fits it.

If you put a 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacer on a Toyota Wheel that is +10 what does that calculate out to be?

-21.75. Just convert the 1.25” to mm and subtract 10

SCS does. But you have to wait for those to be in stock. Unfortunately that’s the situation I’m in right now...

I don't see the 3rd Gen Pro Wheels in the first post. I think they would be a good addition. They are 16x7 and +13

Are all 3rd Gen spare tire rims the same/ universal? Or are they specific to the model? For example the spare on my Sport will have a 17x7.5 +30 rim and the spare on a Pro will have a 16x7 +13 rim? I've switched to Pro rims and went up a tire size and would like to have the same size tire on a steel rim for a spare.

Every Tacoma, regardless of the tire size hitting the ground will get the hankook (P245/75/16) 16" spare, EXCEPT the Tacomas that have the (265/70/16) 16" Goodyear which in that case the same tire will be on the spare rim.

This change started last year because it was not always this way.

What Tacoma/Fj/4run alloy OEM wheels are the lightest? Anyone know? I'm reading through this complete thread...not done yet. I have 00" SR5/TRD 4x4, want to replace the original 15" alloys with a late model rim 16/17" but ...only if I can confirm the set-up will be same weight or lighter (preferred) .
    TIA

OK, I'm thinking I have this right but want to make sure:
If I'm going from this first gen TRD wheel on my Taco

    To 2nd Gen TRD alloy

    Part Number:

    42611AD031

To have the wheel/tire be in the same exact position (with the 2nd gen wheel on the "04 Taco) I would need a .75" spacer. correct?

    15mm offset vs 32mm offset/ 4.5" backspacing vs 5.25" backspacing.

What are these original 15" alloys? I don't think the 2nd gen or 3rd gen ever got 15" OEM alloys (just steel).

If you meant steel 15" then your only other OEM option is the 18" Xrunner wheel as it is the only other wheel with the same hub hole size.

Thanks. So does this mean they won't work on a Taco?
