I just purchased a 2017 sport Tacoma and already the BSM shows it not available what has happened. I washed out the possible dirt in the bumper where everyone describes but to just no avail. Am I looking at service all ready?

I snapped the plastic piece that holds the sensor off in a creek bottom and I am in a similar boat. Do I replace the bumper and get toyota to re calibrate or get something else and say screw it.
