    Hard to advise at a 35 pound fluctuation but the best thing I did was forget about cutting weight. For some guys, cutting weight a week out helps them focus. For others, it adds more anxiety and is a big relief once they remove that part of the equation. Figure out which one of those you are first.

    Also, my goal was to place in my division so I could qualify for "absolute" where cutting weight has no tactical advantage. Best of luck.

    Hey I just found this section!! Not too many BJJ practitioners in the TacomaWorld but for the ones that do OSS-EVERY DAY PORRADA!!! I have been training for about 4 years. I am working on my hopefully earning my purple belt under Professor Tommy Costa at High Ground Jui Jitsu an affiliate of ATT. I hope everyone is being safe during quarantine and still staying in fighting shape.

    What is everyone doing to train? I’ve only been watching technique videos. My academy has been doing zoom classes but it’s hard to get motivated for that.

    been doin on-line sessions with two of my profs, one is primarily conditioning, stretching and solo drills the other is solo drills and workin with a dummy
