So I bought my truck with the arb deluxe already on. Beautiful and high quality...but I think too big aesthetically from certain angles, though it looked great from the front.

Anyway I put it up to trade for a different steel bumper but nothing was offered that seemed as nice and I also found that ARB specifically matches airbag "pulse" of the vehicle for oem airbag deployment.

So I chopped the bull bar off. The tubes are now open holes I'll have to get someone to weld shut. She sticks out a bit but I had '00 4runner so I'm used to the fat lip. Whatchall think?

Looks great in my opinion. Bold move. I prefer the extra protection around the headlights/gril/hood but I think that it does fit the look of your truck better without the hoops.

Appreciate the input man I agree.. I was pretty nervous being new to the grinder... may or may not have taken a little bit out of the plastic bumper

I'm not a hoops fan, so I like it!

More important though is if you like it, that's all that matters.

Whats massive the nose or the lift/truck itself?... (mostly older) people stop and tell me she's huge like a tank but she's tall and small to me

Hard to say because it's so well balanced when carrying it. Theres no way it was as light as it felt, which was like 40lb

No no! glad to possibly help. Need the post count to get on buy/sell/trade too  anyway not thick at all. The center supports were way thicker but still not bad. I can post pics if ya want..

Now I cant decide if I want to put those rubber pieces back on or not (they do make it stick out even further)

I considered cutting the tube sections off the left and right and leaving the bull bar shape in the middle. You could always try that first and take the rest if you didnt like it.

The nose just looks big on such a small truck.

I like it. I’m fantasizing how many beers I can fit on that front bumper...makes an easier beer holder vs the rear. Park faced in, Cops or rangers pull up, drop the can walk back to the rear tail gate and greet them.

Disclaimer: I don’t condone drinking and driving just drinking and talking shit to my buds next to my truck.

I too am curious about the actual tubing thickness. I know the OD is 1.880-1.900"(someone measured it for me). I suspect it might be 1.5" schedule 10 pipe which has a 1.90" OD and a .109" wall thickness. The video below shows that it's a thinner wall pipe around 4:30. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yqHL7Uo4_s

I'm not a huge hoop fan, but without them I think it just makes it look like it sticks out even more.
