I know I know it’s unpardonable. Had plans to put it all on when I got up but got called to a meeting at work cause of all the hype. Didn’t get the meat on til almost 1 and I was starving when that chicken came off and was ready for bed when the brisket finally got pulled for rest.

I didn't think about more pellets but still got bit more than quarter ton of charcoal. Yesterday no problems at the stores except for no Mountain Money, hand sanitizer or flu meds. Anywhere.

Checked Amazon and no joy there either except for Theraflu and they want more than $40 for a small box  Fuck that noise I then checked the Military Exchange. In stock $6 a box but is an add on item and have to have $25 in other purchases. So I ordered something else :anonymous:

Finally getting my 26" kettle $10 off, free shipping and no sales tax what a bargain! $300 for a couple of packs of theraflu LOL. Bet I use the 26" a lot though. Tomorrow dog food and pellets. Another snow storm on Friday so the pellet pooper will still be seeing some use yet.

Did some baby backs since I couldn’t find a pork butt. Usually do spare ribs. Good flavor but a little dry.

You will do it well

Never done beef cheek but done a lot of other meats that included cheeks. Mainly pork. Like I said have no doubt that you will do it well and you and your family will enjoy it!

This was actually my first time doing a pre-cooked breast. I figured I'd just season and smoke it to reheat it to an IT of 140°F. It was on the dry side sadly. I think the low and slow reheat method didn't lend well to this.At least for me anyway. Flavor was amazing though! Next time, I'll try and stick with uncooked and do my own brine.
