I'm planning on replacing my stove up rear bumper with a custom (cheap) metal one after a few other mods... and hopefully getting the frame replaced this year. Definitely looking forwards to that extra weight.

For what its worth, I think if I had to do it over again I might pass on the HC bumper and just do a standard bumper with swing out.

My 2wd doesn't need that much overkill with the big bumper. I want to do a tube bumper that's lightweight but stronger than stock. This truck has bad luck with getting hit and dented from other people.

Emmie and I took a short trip the last couple of days. Went up to Millinocket via 95 from Freeport. Then took the Golden Road over to Greenville. Then Went up route 15 towards Rockwood. Took the Dump Rd, Somerset Rd, and Capital Rd to route 201. Back down towards Skowhegan and home to Freeport. The Golden road was a mixture of clear to slush to about Abol Bridge. Then, mostly slush and ice to Greenville. I did this on Thursday, nice and sunny. Between Greenville and rt 201 was all ice/packed snow. Did that today after spending the night in Greenville. Light snow most of the morning. All in all, it was a relaxing drive. Stopped to take a few pictures and see a few sights.Coolest thing I saw was 2 kayakers "sliding" down the glare ice road towards McKay Power Station where they planned to put in to the West Branch.

Hello, just wondering where everyone had their lifts installed? Not sure of any places near me and I'm not sure if I want to try and put it in myself.

What part of the state are you in? My go-to recommendation is to go see Archie's in Wells, but obviously that doesn't do you much good if you're in Houlton

    Ok.
I'm not sure if he still does it or not, but last I knew Bob @ Jewell Tire in South Paris was still doing lift kit installs. They'd be worth a call if you're looking for someone a little closer.

Anyone have any good shops they'd recommend for exhaust work? Greater Portland area / up toward the Topsham way?

Think its finally time to get a full set of real skid plates, which leads me to the question of rerouting the exhaust or not.. Seems like a simple enough job, but probably not going to have any time to do it myself.

Exhaust in that area I'm not sure about. Not too many places do custom bending any more; most shops just buy the prebent stuff that bolts right in. The only one I'm familiar with is First Choice Muffler in Lewiston, and the only reason I know about them is because I drive by their shop pretty regularly.

    Hi Mainers,

No photos yet, but I picked up a 2019 TRD OR. I am in Bridgton if you see a super white Tacoma driving around. No photos since it needs a bath.

Welcome. Nice choice! If you see a white 2019 OR in Bridgton, it might be me visiting my parents!
