I have a 2017 Tacoma 37k miles it recently rained how it hasn’t before since I’ve had the truck and all the water is coming in through the back light! I called Toyota and they simply said I’m outside the warranty which is BS since I’m barely over and this is obviously a Manufacturer defect. Has anyone experienced this ? If so what did you do ?
    I’m a sadd girl.

I'm in the same boat. 2017 around 43k miles in SoCal. Dealer quoted me close to $500 to fix. I've known about this issue, there's a TSB on it, and I would check my headliner back there before when it would rain and it was dry so I thought I was good. Current weather here proved otherwise, this rain is nuts.

Tons of threads on this, some bought the replacement brake light and I think the gasket? not sure if it's on there already while others used silicone or butly rubber tape to seal. Not sure what route I want to take yet. Let me know what you come up with.

Man thanks for showing me that, I’m fighting for the coverage worse comes to worst I will temporarily use silicone, until I can fix it correctly entirely. My truck looks just as bad as those pics
