Yes Sir. It is at the top of our diagram titled DSIM. That is the Tailgate Opener V2 Module.

See I would of thought the oem tailgate harness needed to be connected before the passenger/driver twin unlock/lock harness.

Reason being (in my head) is in the diagram you are breaking the passenger unlock/lock path for the twin action before the oem tailgate harness and I thought that path is required to get the tailgate lock/unlock to function since it’s supposed to tap into the passenger lock/unlock

edit: shit, I thought the cab was to the left and door to the right. I missed that sorry

It is... if you look at the drawing, the upper right is the “to cab” connector. The solenoid is the first thing.

No worries, it looks like spaghetti soup to me too at times.
I don’t know how many times I have seen something and it made sense, only to see it again and wonder what is going on. o_O It’s even worse if it is your own drawing...

    You could also do this:
De-pin the Unlock & Lock terminals from the IK1 going to door from the OEM Tailgate harness.

    Purchase these:
    upload_2020-3-17_17-27-2.jpg
You'll need 2 males and 1 female, and 2 pairs of terminals. One male will be inserted to the removed terminals of the OEM harness connector. (Door side)
1 more pair of male terminals for the IC1 side, those would be cut and crimped, making the the IC1 a 2 slot dual wire. (9 & 10) The dual wire added needs to reach the passengers side.

    upload_2020-3-17_17-31-58.jpg
@KTJO 4x4 sells the IC1 with the required pigtails on slots 9 & 10...but you could do this yourself.

No it is not quieter. I have installed both on my truck as well as other members have installed and have commented on this. Just wanted to get back to. However, for the money you spend, all the extra gadgets you get, you pay for them and more. So after purchasing the kit and taking a look at it. The kit actually looks pretty similar to my very first kit. It’s almost like someone took my first kit to a Toyota dealership and gave it to them or something. Hahaha but anyhow. They use the wire looming I use to use, but found unnecessary in cost and really just unnecessary, they use the heat protection for about 150cm if the Underbody harness which is interesting and I’m not exactly sure why they do that when they include like 50 Cable Ties and you can attach it to the already heat protected harness that we have down there. The grommet is a nice touch give or take or you can just remove the other grommet that is there and run the harness through it. However, the way they did the OEM as not a separate Plug-N-Play Harness kind of sucks because it is attached to the whole harness and you can never detach it from the rest of the harness. So that right there limits you quit a bit with adding on other mods to this harness which there are so many. I think I have like 6 mods added to my harness. Anyhow, so you get through the grommet which would be a person preference extra cost for this kit and you work your way to the kick panel area for the Harness where they have two fuses, one for the lock and one for the unlock which is interesting but it’s cool. When dealing with Toyota and aftermarket I’m sure they made whomever made their kit install those to protect their wiring but really it’s unnecessary. So all in all, it’s a lot of eye catching material that you don’t really need. I think what I took from it, was adding 10 Cable Ties and that’s was it. Anything over and you really have gone a bit crazy with your install. My vendor was already in the process of making my own dual wire harness protectors. The last thing that was in the process of converting and I had been asked to do so by customers, was to convert a tailgate disconnect. So other than that, those are the key take aways for the OEM Kit. I would be afraid of the actuator going bad. Overall tho, I don’t think you could go wrong with the kit. It’s an OEM product.

Had the lock installed in my '20 Sport and it works great. I was expecting it to be louder than it is. Not much different than the sound from the doors. Other than being locked all the time, the best part is I don't have to worry about losing the key.

Another happy customer! Installed the OEM kit from Olathe. I don't know if I'm more impressed with the kit or the directions from this thread. They are both great and together made this one of the easiest things I've done on a vehicle.

Just finished up installing this on my 2020 DCLB. Overall pretty easy and I agree with others in this thread regarding the wire clips between the bed and tailgate and the metal zip ties by the exhaust. Did anyone trim those metal ones? I kind of just bent them away so they wouldn't rattle on anything.

Really nice kit tho. Ended up with a lot of extra zipties and about a foot of slack at the end.

I used some black synthetic industrial heat resistance ties, looked so much better. It took me about an hour and then we did my son's truck in about 30 minutes. I did the tailgate and he ran the wire and plugged in the connectors

I was able to cut the metal 'zip ties' easily with some Wiss W7T Shears (my favorite scissors). I was expecting it to be hard from previous posts but they cut as easy as the plastic zip ties.

Installed mine today. Thank you, thread. Other than my shearing that bolt off with the torque wrench, it was awesome. (I had a spare and an extraction kit)

WRT the metal ties, I was under the truck with some weak wire-cutters but able to score the ties and crack them off with 1-2 bends.

Now I want to do the bed-lights.

I got my OEM kit for the DCLB, I hope to get to install soon. Ordered from Sparks Parts, along with kits to add OEM foglight harness and stalk switch. Also got the OEM bed step as my knees are killing me when trying to get in the bed.
