But yeah, same thing I'd have done around kids. My wife has to work in the houses but she washes up right before she leaves, keeps gloves in her vehicle, and washes up right when she gets home

 

It's the right thing to do, especially now. This shit is ridiculous. Can't be too cautious.

 

I need a set of small, but heavy duty/can take the weight of my walk behind mower, ramps.

Something that I can use to take my mower in and out of the shed.

Anyone have any recommendations?

 

Morning everyone. I pray those that aren’t able to work now can weather this. I’m feeling pretty blessed that I fall under the “essential” worker. Although a stay at home for weeks, possibly weeks sounds nice and all it would SUCK.

On a positive note, I hope to get some work done on my amps install today. I’ve had everything for a few weeks now and haven’t had time to do it. I also have my step sons first car to replace the front bumper on as well. Getting new tires and an alignment today for it. That car was the Tacos first real haul.

That's just it, plus you guys have the little ones. Same reason I gotta watch out around my wife where she's high risk.

Depends how heavy your mower is, I'd guess my tractor is about 400 or so. I just bought the ramp transitions that go 20-30 bucks and cut a 2x6 according to the template for the tailgate of my truck. I use the same thing to get my tractor in the shed and while the sit of the metal isn't totally flat it works fine.

The box includes the instructions, you just measure the truck with the tailgate down and it tells you how long to make the boards. Ideally you should use 2x8 but I had 2x6 in the garage and so far it's been fine for a few years.

 

You could make your own with a kit and adding boards. I not know if the photo below is of a good product, but it shows the concept.

 

Same type I used, I'd definitely do it. One bonus is you can make the boards the length you desire. I have a tractor that is a bitch to push into my truck at times but if I bought metal ones already made I don't think I could do it

 

Just for the shed?

Buy some hangers and some PT and build one.

 

Good idea too. I actually went the other order..didn't have the shed when I bought the transitions but they work on the shed when it's that time of year. I only load into the shed twice a year in terms of heavy items anyway
