Put some wrap on my RTT today in hopes of reducing the amount of heat it absorbs. Have to reinstall the rack still...it started raining so I had to pack it up.

 

Loaded it up and rode the bumps for a while.. lol

Gonna see what that #bumplife is all about. And those rivets were a total PITA.
One less thing to do until long travel muahahaha.

 

Parked right when it changed

changed 3 of the idler pulleys, looking over how to change the tensioner but it doesn’t look like a fun time....

Going to be doing the same shortly (2010 with 190,000 Km) and for the tensioner, just going to replace bearing inside pulley per this thread:

I was waiting for the satisfying part at the end of the story where you go back and confront the shady tech. And perhaps beat him with a brake shoe. Kinda disappointed.

had time today to wash the truck

 

Went to the Les Schwab for a free flat repair. Turns out it was the valve stem that was damaged while wheelin. Then me and my kid found a pirate ship

Then went to autozone for amp install wires.

Got a question tho they were out of the RCA line output converter couldn’t I just splice into the front door speakers?

 

Thanks I already bought the whole assembly but maybe now I’ll return it and just change the bearing. I’m still getting a noise so I think I might be changing and alternator in the near future... pulling 14 volts across the terminals right now with the ac and headlights on but we will see

 

Installed new tail lights and LED reverse lights.

 

I would just wait and run new wires

 

Got this installed today as well. I need to powdercoat it. Silver doesn't flow.

 

I'm wayyyyyy too lazy for all that. I don't even like going to the store when the wife asks me to. And its literally down the block. (Which I still drive to)
