Amazon/eBay. Cheap and do more than enough. Cheap to replace. Had multiple sets and never had one fail

Depends on what you want them for. Higher end lights (ARB, Baja, Lightforce, Rigid) will out perform the cheap ebay crap every time. If you don't care and just want looks..get on Amazon.

True. But op can buy 25 sets of cheap Amazon eBay “crap” for one set of rigids which are probably made right next door to the eBay “crap”

Not true at all. Lightforce lights are made in Australia. The others are made in China. I've had both. I prefer lightforce.

Just can’t see paying hundreds of dollars for a set of lights. Yeah the cheaper stuff might not last as long or perform as well but there usually enough

This is my 30$ eBay 32” bar. I know it isn’t a rigid but who needs more light than that??

It literally comes down to how much you are willing to spend honestly. If you are going high end then the Baja and Rigid stuff is top shelf, and IMO worth the money if you can swing it. Just about everything else is a crapshoot, and has similar quality/warranty/etc.

With lights, it doesn't matter THAT much where they're made. Warranty and customer service is EVERYTHING when it comes to electronics. I was an avid Surefire collector for many years, spent thousands collecting flashlights I didn't need, but it was fun. Surefires usually cost multiple times more than competitor Chinese lights (Fenix, Jetbeam, etc.). Does that mean the Asian products are that much worse? Of course not, most people never have a good Chinese flashlight ever break, but when it does, the difference between Surefire and the other brands is their lifetime warranty and no BS customer service. I have multiple Rigid and Baja on my truck not only because the build quality is superior, but mainly because of their warranty.
