I should buy a safe. Locked hardcases is a poor solution at this point, and living on the ground floor means easier moves than my previously 2nd floor apartments. Then again after this AD shenanigans I may well just go live on the top floor from now on :anonymous:

    2 sets ^^

Now what I did was is cut (2) strips of velcro the same width and adhere them to the adhesive strips on the lights as these lights are in a V-Shape for corner mounting. I also bought a 4 light kit as well as I have 10 lights in mine 3 down each side 2 at top and bottom...

I talked to the guy, he's shaken, brand new coronavirus gun owner. Bought a PPS, ND'd into the floor(our ceiling). I emailed the leasing office and am going to leave it between him and them. The LO has contacted LE for a police report. 99% sure the guy is gonna get evicted, probably fined too.

That kinda sucks. Especially him being a new gun owner. Might have never been around firearms nor had any training. Could really be his first time touching a gun. But safety is paramount. So I understand. I would of handled this differently. I would of just said no harm no foul and offered to help the guy and possibly take him out shooting and give him some safety lessons.

I did, but I have my own ass to cover in regards to the hole in my ceiling. I didn't call the police, and had the LO asked I would've advocated against it. Unfortunately that's not my call to make, as it's not my property.

Edit: To be clear, it was no harm no foul to me, but the apartment complex said otherwise.

If anyone is interested, I just listed some Meprolight Tru-dot sights for Ruger Gp100/Super Redhawk in FS section.

I have only used it dry firing so far. I had my friend use it to work on his grip while live firing.
The first day using it I was scoring upper 80's and 90's pretty quick. I'll start using it for live fire. I'm not sure if it's worth the money yet. The X10 wasn't out when I bought but I don't think I'd spend 250 on that model.

I am actually training the couple across the street this afternoon.

    New gun owners

Will be taking them to the range as well.

Bad part is gun stores simply didn't have time to help all the gun owners.

I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth the money. I also run a Glock 43 so I would also have to buy the special attachment as I do not have an accessory rail. So that’s another $30. It seems like a decent product but I’m not sure how often I would actually use it, and I don’t want to waste the money if I won’t.

Yes. I got the X3 for my dad. It definitely improved my pistol shooting. We have competitions sitting on the couch shooting the clock on the wall. You can also use it live fire. Decent bang for the buck. Pun intended.

During the last gun panic there were weekly blood puddles on the firing line at the public range. New reloaders who couldn't buy factory ammo were blowing themselves up left and right. Thankfully I don't have to go to public ranges anymore because that nonsense is going to start back up again.

I don't have a 19.5 MOS, but I do have a 19M. The only difference between the 19.5 and the M appears to be a couple DLC coated parts. I love gen4 Glocks and wanted to hate the M. I ha e carried a gen4 for about 10 years. I like the finger grooves but don't miss them on the M. I thought the cutout in the front strap would rub my pinky raw because it has kind of sharp edges, but it doesn't. My only real criticism is that the barrel is showing wear from the slide pretty quickly.

I recently sold off all of my other defensive caliber pistols, including 2 Walthers and a SW1911 because I just could not shoot them as quickly or accurately out of the holster. I really loved that PPQ, too.

I think it's true for any weapon system, but moreso with Glocks, that when you get really, really proficient with them you skill does not translate 100% to another system, and spending time with other systems can be counter productive.

Anyway, my 19M has been great.

Got my SIRT AR bolt sighted in and did some drills with the LASR software, time to order a SIRT pistol.
