Well, the time finally came. After 3 happy years of ownership with the Tacoma, I made my way back into a 4runner. I got a pretty good deal on a lightly used SR5 that enticed me to make the switch, so I parted ways with the orange taco.
As much as I loved being in and driving the Tacoma, I’m already super happy being back in a 4runner! Now time to research and start from scratch with this thing. Sorry for the low quality picture, looking pretty grandpa like right now anyway:D

EDIT: I moved onto 4runners.com but will still be hanging out around here:cool:

Do it!!! I loved the Tacoma, but the 4runner power train feels great and the whole truck does. If you don’t need/use the bed you will not regret it. Aside from the interior/tech being a little out dated compared to the Tacoma, it’s an overall better vehicle!

I have a sleeping platform in the Tacoma that I sometimes use. That is a deal-breaker for the 4Runner at this time. Someday...

The rear in the 4runner can also be converted to sleep in, just saying:thumbsup:

I peeked in a new one three years ago or so, and it didn't look like enough room. I'm 6'1".
