They came on my truck. I like them. I have a Retrax cover on my bed and they provide a good amount of light in the bed when the cover is closed.

I had wanted them but truck did not come equipped so I added them after purchase.
They are ridiculously easy to install and are OEM quality and bright.

My 2020 Limited had the bed lights installed. They’re not super bright, but useful nonetheless.

Nice pix but the camera doesn’t capture how really bright they are. They really should be std equipment.
Here are some pix of them off.

Took me about 20 minutes to do the install just because I was super timid about pulling the taillights out.

Received my bed lights from Toyota yesterday in the mail. Very easy install and definitely makes a difference. Especially under the DB cover. Picture was taken in complete darkness. Need to get that tire mounted on the spare wheel today....

Installed mine last night. Worth the $65 I paid the dealer for the kit.2020-03-09 20.54.11.jpg

Let me know which kit that is and if its plug-n-play with existing OEM 2017 truck bed lights. I have the OEM ones that came with the truck but they stick out so any accessory I try to install gets in the way. I had to cut my Cali-Raised Molle panels just to get them installed. Weird how Toyota made this protrude so far out.

I haven't looked at a 2020 yet. Do they snap in or ?. Just wondering if they will work on the 2016 to 2019 third gens

The 2020 lights just snap in and there is an empty plug behind the tail light that they plug into. Not sure if they would work with previous years. And they sit flush with the bed.

Switch inside the cab. Or, when you open the doors.
