Maybe! AV app also? One of these three I circled has to be the dash cam. (Probably stupid question here but) Did you look through your manual yet? The dasaita manuals are not very descriptive.

I think it's the same, maybe the icon changed with the update?

Having read all of this thread (not all at once) I'm still a little confused as to if this unit is plug and play and all the old functions still work.
    Cheers..

In regards to wiring, steering wheel controls and the factory backup camera (assuming you already have one that displays on the radio), it’s 100% plug and play. You can buy adapters to retain the factory USB/aux port if desired but I’m not entirely sure whether it’s compatible with the factory GPS antenna (if you have one), someone else would have to chime in. But I know it is 100% plug and play with the factory JBL amp/sub (if equipped) using a can bus wiring adapter you can get from eBay.

As for mounting it in the truck, it might require some modification to your factory radio brackets and potentially the hazard/clock mounting points, depending on the year of your truck. The unit is made for the 05-11 hazard/clock and the 2012+ design won’t be a direct fit.

One other thing to note, these units are not compatible with Sirius/XM satellite radio. So if you want to maintain that factory option you’ll have to download the app to the unit and stream it through an internet source.

Ok, please forgive me I've only had time to read a few pages of this thread so far.

    1) Do the people that run this HU recommend it for someone that is looking to upgrade my HU to have an option to play videos/movies for my 4 year old daughter while we are on long drives? I currently don't have or plan on installing any cameras on my truck or Sirius/XM, but would be an added bonus if it can help my factory speakers sound better until I upgrade to Focal speakers later on.

    2) Will it even be compatible with my JBL system in a 2006?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can please point me in the right direction.

The unit I bought has an AV output on the back so I’m sure you could feed a secondary screen in the backseat if desired.

And my truck has the factory JBL and I was told by Iris I needed a canbus adapter for the unit to work with the JBL amp. I haven’t installed mine yet but reports so far tell me it should work without issue. I’ll update once I get around to installing. I’m going to attempt to wrap the surround in silver or matte black vinyl before I install, hence why it’s not already in the truck...

Awesome thanks so much!! I’m not going to be installing a backseat screen, my daughters car seat is located in the middle of the bench so her line of site is looking right at the radio in the dash. Hope I can get it to work because I’m not that tech savvy for sure. Looking forward to seeing your work and install.

Has anyone ran into the issue with a Seicane HU that evening though everyone claims the steer wheel controls are plug and play, I cannot get my volume and skip buttons to work with the HU? Only the “Mode” button¿

Dasiata purchased, delivered and installed on my 2015. Got it all to work but the back up camera. Do I need an adapter?
This is a non can bus unit.

I don’t think so..? But then again I don’t remember coming across an option to change it to rav4 to begin with, am I overlooking something?
