Oh ok. Just wondering because I'm interested in one of these. I'm just not a fan of the steel but if they are coated decent enough then it should be ok

Quality isn’t cheap, Cheap isn’t quality. I patiently waited months and finally got a used Prinsu. You’re not going to save much....$300 at the most by buying a knock off, and who knows it may end up costing you more because you decided to still buy a quality rack after your eBay rack rusts out in a year. Idk, that’s just like, my opinion man. Used Prinsu’s are out there, just have to be quick and ready to buy. I drove 3.5 hrs for mine, $425.

Very true. My worry is rust. And I doubt that rust would not be an issue with this cheap rack.

None of the hardware fit on the truck itself. The screws were too long and improper threading on them. I ended up using different bolts to be able to attach the roof rack to the truck.

The hardware is cheap, do not tighten to much or you are going to strip the bolts. They are also a weird size, both metric and standard would slip on them.

The roof rack came with some paint stripped off, but it looked like it was not even painted on from factory because it was a straight line on some of the bottom parts.

The front wing shakes, like I am saying shakes the whole truck shakes. At around 45 the truck started shaking violently and scared the crap out of me. I took it off and we welded a plat on the back of it, at 55 it now shakes like crazy. We now have it off and found out right where it shakes it (the little v cutouts). We are going to weld a plate to the back of it and paint it orange like my truck. I think that will look good and those V cut outs should not shake anymore

Has some bad wind noise around 45 and up, I can deal with it, however it is something that you may want to think about. I hope when we weld the V cutouts it will reduce wind noise, however that part is going to take a minute for my friend to do it.

It does not clean the antenna (not even close), I am thinking about putting spacers on the back to extend the back out past the antenna or just getting rid of the back piece, right now the back piece is not on it.

The good:

It is strong, after I got the proper hardware for the truck the thing is very strong, I can shake the whole truck with it, stand on top of it, and everything else. It is a heavy beast, and everything does line up correctly.

It is a roof rack and it is cheap, I know the above tells about the problems however if you can handle all of that stuff it is a lot cheap than many other racks like it out there.

I will updated with pictures soon (once we get the front air splitter on it) and show everybody how it looks on the truck (it really does look good on the truck even without the front air splitter on it).

It fits 3rd gens. They have a shark fin antenna cut out now.
