$500 questionably spent, but worth the story

The look on the start guys face when i rolled up in full face and neck brace was hilarious. He thought I was the support truck.

This looks like a cool place to hang, I'm eyeing that 23zero awning so I needed to do some investigative research

Literally my first home football game as a freshman. Went from sweltering hot and humid to 45 and pouring rain in an hour. AND we lost.

Not a fun time to be a water logged cadet. The hazing was fierce that night for "not cheering loud enough to make us win".

Damn, I was a freshman at JMU when it happened. We stormed the stadium and the lone security guard just unlocked the gate and walked away

I also believe y'all went on to win the ACC that year, and JMU didn't go .500

Man, I've had the bug for a sports car side-ho for a while now, and this Audi pops up down the street for me about a week ago, so I see it twice a day on my way to/from work. I could get into it for pretty cheap, but the Audi badge at 100K+ miles is really givin me a second thought. Anyone rocking a 2011 B8 series S4 that would care to chime in? 6MT as well seems to defeat some of the issues with the DSM auto trans.

The thing to fail on Audi & BMW’s will likely be the electronics as they age. As far as mechanical parts go, they will last well past 100k miles as long as good upkeep was done to it.

Yeah, I've been cruisin the Audi forums this AM and that seems to be the common issue. Thankfully the manual is a little less finicky.

Also Audi forums suck. Can TW include an Audi sub section like tundras, etc?

You are really asking for a vacation aren’t you. :anonymous:

Good thing about Audi is that a lot of parts are the same as VW making the cheaper to buy. When I had my m3 I would buy parts from the UK for 1/2 the price. Only downside was shipping took 2 weeks. But worth it if since it was a 3rd vehicle

Im passing on that Audi(For now...). I talked to a bunch of folks and if that car had 110K (like I thought it did) on the odo I'd be buying it, but at 127K, I don't fell like risking being upside down.

    The hunt continues.

    Not much stock left.
    It'll happen eventually.

Are you still in the market for the T100 Tundra desert racing truck?

IDK. I was into LT trucks, and still am, but facing a potential move for work in the next few years, having something like that and a likely move back east just didn't seem smart. An Audi is universally transportable fun.
