Toyota Bluetooth Pairing and Text Message 2020 Taco issue

Hi All,

So new to the forum. I just purchased my first Tacoma a few weeks ago. A 2020 TRD off road in super white. So far love the truck. I paired my iPhone 10xr via bluetooth. As I use the text to talk feature I'm noticing some issues. When I dictate a message Siri will repeat it to me and ask if I want to send. I say yes and Siri confirms the command and says it was sent. However when I look at my phone I notice sometimes the message was never sent. I also notice some incoming message don't make it to the Tacoma display but are present on the phone. Anyone else seeing this issue? Thanks so much

 

I have not seen that on mine. This is happening when you are using Apple CarPlay or Entune?

Sorry still learning about the vehicle. I’m guessing when I use Apple CarPlay. I have my phone plugged in to the USB port. As I’m driving I just say “hey Siri”. Then I say “text joe” then we go through the texting process. Like I said. Sometimes it works other times it says it went thu but does not. Love the feature but makes me not want to trust it.
