I set my SPC’s to D when I installed them today. Worth switching to E?

On a turd gen D will get you about 3 degrees caster and E about 4. I don’t think it will effect clearance at the rear of the tire much. Make sure lower control arm is maxed forward. When you take it in for alignment take the SPC instruction sheet and tell the tech to only use UCA for caster and camber.

I was referring to the tire rubbing the actual frame at full lock. Not just the cab mount. But glad to hear you have tons of room at the rear, that usually is an issue with 2nd gen trucks. Not sure how 3rd gens are different in that area.

Finally got them on. CMC, LCA full forward, seam smashed, and front top fender well beat in. Not rubbing on the street. They will still rub at full stuff on inner front fender well. That needs to be tubbed as I want full up travel for wheeling. Method Race 105s 17X8.5 Offset 0, Tires Kenda Klever 35X10.5X17.

I have been watching Wallyworld daily to check for price drops and just noticed that they have two links for this tire. The E load link actually doesn't even appear when you search by tire size and the D load doesn't show when searching on Google. Interesting. Still waiting for that price drop again.

What the consensus so far ? Everyone still pleased ? Really only complaint i have read (i've even been reading Jeep threads about this tire) is trouble balancing it.

Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I thought the 35x10.5 was only available in D. That is what I bought.

    https://automotive.kendatire.com/en-us/find-a-tire/onoff-road-off-road/klever-rt/

Are you confusing with the 35x12.5 or the 33x10.5 which are both E?

They are on price rollback right now from walmart, I bought when they were $200, now $175. I haven't been able to get walmart to refund the difference yet. Wait times on the phone if you get through are hours and hours due to the over whelmed and understaffed call centers I'm sure. I don't normally shop at walmart, anyone have hints for how to get them to refund when a price rollback happens?

Anyway, I did notice that discount had to put more weights on one of the wheels than the other 4, but not unreasonably so. I bolted them up to my 2nd gen on FN Overlander spec B 17x8.5, they fit fine for me to drive around (note I do have the wheels moved all the way forward and a mild cab chop already) and realize they are way quieter than my previous duratracs, no balance issues. But will rub pretty good on my setup when I start turning sharp. Will need to do additional cab chop, fenderwell bashing, trimming, etc. Not sure if they are going to clear the front side of the upper wheel well under the battery and washer reservoir yet... but if I get major contact there I will try moving the wheel back ward in the arch some, and clearance more on the back to fit, and/or increase the bumpstop location to prevent the last little bit of up travel. Travel isn't everything for me.

Just did 600 miles of freeway with them. Great tire, I don't hear them but my exhaust is loud so not a good judge there. We will be doing 5 days of wheeling so will have feed back on how they are in loose big rock terrain.

Also meant to mention that these took half the weights as the 34" KO2s used.

Check my last IG post: @socalexpeditions

Edit: Finally have time to type out a review. I feel as if I've tried every tire and been decently happy with them, and these are the first tires I'm enthusiastic about.

I put on 11k miles on them, 5k being on a road trip that saw every type of terrain. The tires have deep siping that kept them planted in snow, soft tread blocks that gripped on slick rock/dirt/gravel, and the siping/hybrid pattern kept me from getting stuck in the mud.

They haven't got loud in my opinion. My AT3W's were louder at 10k miles to be honest. Then again, I got a lot of wind noise going on. I can have a normal conversation at a regular volume level.

    10/10 recommend them.

Ive got about 6k miles on them. 100% mixed city/highway. They definitely got louder compared to new...but it would be like comparing a murmur to a whisper. No complaints from me besides seeing the Walmart price escalate up.

Met up with @ETALATE to talk trucks and these Kenda tires. Here's a quick photo of three different 35" tires sizes and manufacturers.

Have you measured the height of the tire off the truck? I was reading on some other forums that it's a lot shorter once it's mounted because of how skinny it is. My wheels are wide (9"), unfortunately, so I think it'll make them shorter than they should be, compared to 35x12.5 wheels.

Has anyone seen these go on sale anywhere? $130 per tire is a steal and I missed out!
