I'm still working but my wife and two grown kids are here so we're doing a lot of yard work. Today, we pulled out a Rose of Sharon bush and planted a Weeping Cherry tree in it's place. We also dug and chopped out a stump in our yard. Man, that thing was a real bear.
Installed a new garage door pad on the outside of the garage and pulled my rear brake drums to clean the brakes and repaint my drums. I'm at a little over 90,000 miles and the shoes looked great. I use my parking brake religiously so I know they are adjusted and working. The drums were tough to get off so I removed the ridge on the edge with a flap wheel disc in my angle grinder.
I have new Power Stop cross drilled and slotted rotors and new pads for another day. I'm kind of saving them for later, in case we do get shut down at work. I also have new front pads for our 2015 Corolla. Those too will wait for a bored, rainy day.
Just staying busy and enjoying the nice weather.

I have a pair of total chaos bed stiffeners that I need to figure out how to install with my bedrug between work (I'm working from home), infusions, and naps on the couch. One more infusion Friday then I'll be done with them for 3 weeks hopefully. So there will be less napping and more getting shit done.

I'd also like to buff the haze off on my headlights and hook up the parking brake bypass to finish the install on my stereo.

After those are taken care of I'm thinking it's time to start piecing together a 2nd battery/solar setup.

    building canopy camper
3 months ago finally got a 2012 Taco 4dr long box, Love it! For about 4-5 years been wanting to build a camper on my old duramax. Now with a Taco I don't have the payload soooo why not build a canopy camper. I have taken what I saw someone build in France back in 2016 (http://www.casa-trotter.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7838), and and also the main cabin idea from Michael Gorski (https://www.overlandkitted.com/four-wheel-drive/2019/4/5/xlotmnk0zvx30b54avwhltujif3l0t).
The past week it has been everyday for 6-7 hours. Hope to have it finished with foam skin by end of this week and then it will slow down as I am back to work and I will need a good chunk of time and lots of research for the fibreglassing.

If mine turns out 1/2 as good as Michael's I will be a happy camper. If it doesn't there will be a big bonfire, and I will have pictures of that as well. Here's to hopefully only 2-3 months to get finished.

I think i'm going to tackle replacing my radiator support bushings a little later today. If I post pictures, I did it. If I don't, you know I was lazy.
