I didn’t like the cup holder recesses and I didn’t pay full price (don’t get me wrong still expensive for what it is) might try
    USA
    :notsure: maybe

I like the thickness (seems thicker than the mafia one I sold), I like the finished texture (pretty much matches the tailgate cap), I wasn’t as impressed with the holes lining up (compared to the Toyota mafia) but I was impressed with the response time from customer care (a couple maybe 4/5 hr same day response on a Saturday) when I was expecting Monday. They informed me the edges will push down (read more below for more detail)

I lined up the top tailgate screws first then noticed none (All but maybe 1 or 2) side/bottom screws didn’t line up. It was also shifted more to 1 side slightly and the recesses for the bottom (near bed) screws barely bit- like 1 thread. Removed thinking I got a dud and emailed. Not long after was the response that the corners of the tailgate bend downward as it gets closer to the bed. So I tried again the next day not even starting the top tailgate cap screws and did the bottom corners and edges first and every thing did end up fitting (some screws needed to start at a slight angle but better than doing the top first). Was told the bottom screw/center screws weren’t necessary and they didn’t do the recesses deeper for possible plastic failure (I think they would be fine slightly deeper to grab 2-3 threads total) the old mafia one didn’t have issues in the same spots and it wasn’t as thick. Despite all the videos with people using drills- I would not use a drill to tighten them down.
In the end I’m happy with it. I’ve had the oem tailgate lock harness for the tailgate portion installed for a couple weeks now in anticipation for the panel (but I still need to run the cab side harness) So I don’t plan on needing to remove it anymore

Do all the original internals swap from stock grill to this one? Maybe should have asked if this is a stock grill.

I asked them requesting no recesses and they said to email With the order number and they take note. Same price (not full price- see my last post)

I love it, took it out offroading this past weekend. Super sturdy but doesnt way much and you dont need to spend the money on extra mounts for things like maxxtraxx or rotopax like alot of the other. I have zero complaints.

Soooo, fab'd up the ditch brackets today for my cheap lights. Before anyone hates on me, I got them as a gift when retired for the second time. Supposed to go on my Subaru but never got to it.

Driving With my daughter from Massachusetts to KC, MO to move my parents back. Pulling an empty trailer- this thing SUCKS for towing. Slow and steady wins the race. 55mph and I’m averaging 10.6mpg. Cruise control while towing is a joke.. just pegs at 4,500-5,000 rpm. Drives me crazy.
Pit stop in Columbus, OH. Finishing the rest tomorrow.

Did a DIY popnlock today. Made a box for the actuator and wrapped in sound deadening material to cut down on sound and added a plug in case I need to take the tailgate off. The actuator seems to push and pull a little harder than would like. I'm wondering if I elongate the hole a little in both directions if it would eliminate how hard it locks and unlocks. Anyone ever try anything like that?

If you want to spend the $ you could do this Blue Sea product instead. Get an Off-Grid Engineering battery tray like this to mount the Blue Sea product to. Then all you need is a Meso Customs switch panel. And if you have lots of other stuff with switches get a Switch Pro. You can spec the Meso panel to hold the Switch Pro (which can control the Blue Sea) or spec the Meso to also hold the Blue Sea switch I linked to first.

Then you can get the Warn Zeon Platinum winch with the wireless clutch........

    Yep, just a few $.

There’s more rental cars on this island than companies can store on site at their locations so they had to fill the stadium parking lot.

Installed the Hondo Garage Un-Holey phone mount- then ‘custom’ made my own mounting ball for my wireless phone charger and my Garmin. Also got inspired from someone else in this thread who had all of their stickers from mods inside their bed so I started that too.

You need to remove the TSS sensor from the OEM grill and install it onto the pro grill.

Did you have the T-SB update done. T-SBs 0058-18, 0062-18, and 0125-18 all provide the same update. It should help.
