I'm imagining there's quite a few folks that financed their SXS over the last 3 years and now that payment looks way less essential. So how long until fire sale prices on toys like rock crawlers/SXS's, go fast cars, 3/4 ton trucks, boats, guns, etc. start to happen circa 2009 style again?

My working theory is mid-May when all the hood rich folks have blown through their stimulus checks and tax returns on bills...but the ability of folks to defer payments will make it a moving target if it does happen.

Yep, folks in debt or living check to check that get a large influx of cash flow and immediately spend it on frivolous things instead of saving it or paying down debt.

I'm seeing a few discounts here and there - Already see 150 bucks discount on a kayak I have been watching for a while, few RVs in the neighborhood have for sale signs. Things will get desperate end of May, especially if the oil bust continues. Not just toys either. Cars and real estate will have great deals going on.

I'll wait for the second wave of fire sales, after people spend their extra cash on the first round, then they have to sell at a later date for even less.

Hang tough. Majority of people at my office are now down to one income households, mine included. We think we are fortunate enough to be working for a business that will survive, but you never really know what will happen when the workload lightens up.

All I can say is that at least I didn't make the mistake of investing in the redneck tiger breeding industry. Those guys seem fucked, regardless of what the economy is doing.

RV’s already going up for sale in my area, especially bumper pulls. For the rest maybe late April at the earliest. I am hoping to get a overland trailer for a decent price if one comes up for sale locally. I am also waiting on 3 vehicle for the price to job for my Tacoma replacement. Still holding firm on price so far unfortunately.

Doing calculations now on the impact for my company. Most are being furlowed, a few lucky souls are looking at a 20-40% salary reduction. I hate these calculations
