Ordered one 3/30...

 

I picked up this set, but it was $108 by the time I got to them. I still thought it was a good deal until they arrived. One looks brand new, but the other has a cloudy lens, lots of chips and scratches and moisture in the light:



Now I’m tossed between returning them and pulling the lens off to try and polish.

 

One of those was definitely a used light. I'd ask Amazon for a replacement set.

 

Return. One a lens clouds, they seem to recloud a lot sooner a second and third time. I don’t think you’ll ever be happy and just get annoyed every time you look at them. At least that’s how it would be for me.

 

They don't even look like they have the same "Rigid font", I would return. There is always another deal. If you want to keep it, send it to Rigid for repair. I've had good luck with their repair service.

 

Amazon literally offers replacement as a return option. Even with a price change having happened to make them much more expensive. Try that option first, if it's available to you.

 

I am trying to do that, but not seeing an option other than return. I will call them later. In all fairness, these were purchased from Amazon Warehouse (meaning used), but I didn’t expect them to be that bad. I also expected them to be close to each other in use.

 

I believe these were mason warehouse items so they are non returnable. You can get a new lens from rigid.

Oh, hell. Then you're out of luck. Here's what happened. Someone had an old set of Rigids. They bought that new set. Swapped out their old cube for the new cube. Returned the set. Now you have a mismatch. Sorry man.

 

If they were Amazon warehouse you can return them.
