Mine were on the bars then I moved them to the forks. Might move them back up to the bars but that would mean taking everything apart again...dammit!

I think yours look much better. Mine look kinda and goofy and out of place up on the bars. That was one of the first things I noticed when I got it all back together and stepped back to look at it

I think they look fine on the taller bars like ours, but don't like the look on the short bars.

I was thinking of either putting these on the forks: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Razor-39mm...or-HD-Sportster-Dyna-Smoked-Lens/281939225956, or these under the mirrors: https://www.jpcycles.com/product/20...k-led-handlebar-marker-lights-with-smoke-lens. Not sure how well either of those options are seen during the day, but they've got to be better than the stock halogens.

You don't need turn signals in va. Just headlight and taillight. And brakes and tires and horn

I have similar ones from DK customs. They are visible during the day.

My God!!! The unspeakable things I would do for the chance to find a CT70 in a barn or garage for only 200 bucks. Nice find. I have a 1984 Honda CR60 project that I really should get around to. Maybe now that the world's on lockdown, I'll spend some time working on it. Think I paid $200 for it. Girlfriend was not impressed when I made her stop at a trailer park, and stuffing it the back of her MDX, after a Valentine's getaway.

The only pic I have before I tore it down.

I have the Drag Specialties signals on my bike. I was cocnerned that the smoked lenses and small LEDs would be hard to see but they’re pretty bright. I think the key is keeping them up on the bars and away from the headlight. Without another light nearby they still stand out. They don’t have the running light functionality (single function LED) though so if that’s something you wanted to keep, it’s worth noting.

Nice! Thank you. I knew I would lose the running light function, and I am ok with that, because I am not really sure what nearly 20 year old halogens do in that department, especially considering I hardly ever ride at night. I know I could go LEDs but I want to clean up the look a little, too, so I think the DS lights will do the trick.

Now, I am off to wire those fxckers back up to the handlebars...
