I’ll rock the shit out of that strawberry. Anyone that’s ridden with me knows I’ve got three small plastic trolls on my dashboard. Two of which are nearly as old as I am.

If anyone is looking for a short bed snugtop I've got one for sale, 1000 cash takes it.

Man if that thing was black and for a 3rd gen I would be all over that. I'm having a tough decision to either go with a bed rack or a snugtop. Want to put a RTT on top.

Why was it retired? Do you need it for offroad stuff or is just a 2nd(3rd or 4th etc) vehicle?

*sell it and focus on Tacoma life*

Clockspring was out. Just replaced that.

now I believe the thermostat is pooping the bed because it’s overheating at low speed. Doesn’t overheat at idle and doesn’t overheat at highway speed.

starting to see trouble out of it so I’m leaning toward sorting the issue with the coolant system then listing it for sale.

it’s my second vehicle. I’ve got the F250. I sold the corolla to the business cause we needed it more there than I needed it

I kinda want a single cab Tacoma but I know that’s impulsive and isn’t gonna be super family friendly

Sounds like normal jeep stuff.. If you're not happy with the maintenance they require then get out of it. A DCSB Tacoma is where it's at, family oriented! But still small enough to have some fun with.

Im not really unhappy with the maintenance. Ive got 118k and the only thing ive replaced maintenance wise is the starter, clock spring, and now the thermostat. Not really too bad based on what I hear from others' experience. I just dont drive it very often and it feels glutinous to have two vehicles when one is just sitting. Plus, I could use the extra money and pay off my boat, or some of my mortgage, etc.

I am also really attached.. ive done a lot to that jeep and we have had some really good times together so itll be hard to sell

I feel the same way you do. I built my truck for terrain that inst even available within a 5 hour drive. Love my truck and its paid off and still worth 5 figures. Could use the money to strengthen my own personal economy.
