I do not have a spring compressor but you dont need one for 2nd/3rd gen tacomas. Im in Deer Valley which is the 17/101 interchange area.

Its really easy to swap coils(or any front suspension parts) on these trucks without a spring compressor. You simply put the frame on jack stands, put a jack underneath the lower control arm, undo the topnut on the shock shaft, undo the lower control arm at the ball joint and lower the jack. Then you remove the lower shock bolt and voila your strut and spring are loose.

Hey peeps. So I was able to get the pet number and all and the Springs were to light as in the Springs were too light. I ended up getting Eibach 700 springs. The Suspension is good now and works correctly. So I’ve been having vibrations when breaking between 28-0 miles an hour. I’ve been reading that it may either be the needle bearing which you can replace by ecgs. Or I may need install 3 degree axle shims. Have you guys ever gotten vibrations?

    Some simple checks first
my 2nd Gen Front Rotors warped very easily on me, and I had to switch to EBC.
are your tires cupped and the new alignment enhanced that?
It shouldn't be the bearing if you are just driving in 2wd on street? so does it shake in 4wd and not in 2wd drive?

Are you feeling it in the steering wheel or your ass on the seat?

So far that I’ve seen is Tacos rear drum brakes are rusted as shit lol!!!! Hard to say honestly on the brakes. My front rotors are okay but it only happened after the lift. Before I never got anything. What’s the best way to know if the tires are cupped? From a lot of people they are getting the bearing when they are in 2wd but once they go to 4wd it is fine.
