This did not feel as bad as the 1983 Challis Earthquake to me. This sure felt shorter and did not seem to have the rock and roll that the 1983 quake did.

Definitely not the worst one I've felt but pretty strong, grew up with them and felt some bad ones in my life...

I was in a 6.1 in MD that was bad enough to shake us over 1hr from epicenter. It was a bit freaky

Just enough to look kinda cool.
First one I’ve ever been in. But my mom was in the one from 83, she was stocking shelves at the local grocery shop.

Hey all I am bugging out to Utah next week. Fishing the Green for a couple days then heading down to southern part of the state. Never been to that part of Utah. Looking to get off the beaten path. Suggestions?

Yeah stay home. Trying to "bug out" is probably how Blaine County got so f*cked because a lot of the second home owners went to their houses in sun valley and brought the virus to Blaine County. So if you were to possibly have the virus but were asymptomatic (not showing signs) and you went somewhere you could transfer the virus to a small Comunity that might not have a hospital within 100 miles. Plus I know California and Oregon have shut down most of their parks so I wouldn't be surprised if Utah has/does the same. I know it seems like a good idea to leave to the wilderness but it could be putting someone else or even yourself at risk.

Third vote for staying in. We're all a bit stir crazy, but sheltering in place is best.
Once everything has passed I recommend the Dixie NF (from Bryce to Parowan). It gets little public usage, a variety of roads of various difficulty, and super diverse landscape/forests. Plus not far from many of the parks when they reopen. Much of this stuff is snowed in now anyways.

Anybody have some interesting projects they have been working on/finished during the past few weeks of stay at home.
I built some auxiliary power stuff for my truck.

Yes. Designed slots so it's only connected by half inch bridges along the bend line. Then weld up the seam.

That's who I went through. I think they had the cheapest price I could find. Pretty neat for do it yourselfers to be able to get professional cut parts

Yea. I had to learn Fusion 360. It's been 10 years since I've really messed with CAD. I enjoy it but it can be frustrating. I'd really like to learn the stress analysis portion of it and get an idea of what my parts can handle.

Haven't used solid works at all. Fusion is free so that's what I went with. The stress analysis portion is not though. That also sounds useful once more components are involved.
