    Take a deep breath everyone........
    Unless you're one of those poor Canadians that are still in a certain place in Arizona. Taking a deep breath there could be hazardous to their health. :eek:
    I hope that other 20 percent are OK!?!

    Same here in northeast PA. Was hoping to get the field mower running and knock down some brush...I won't walk behind that thing when the ground/grass is wet.

    @Devious6
    I hear that! Here's a tip that I use when weed whacking, I put on a pair of "Wicks Chaps" . Fairly inexpensive, urethane coated nylon, lightweight and resilient. Easy on and off and they have a tag that you can snap on your belt or belt loops. Found these when I used to run coon hounds in competition. They work great when doing yard work. I'm almost positive they are still available. Mine are old and in need of replacement but have lasted for years. If you don't wash them the urethane coating will last a long time. I just wait until the grass and dirt dry and brush them off. I have at least a dozen years on my present pair. Something you may want to explore.
    Use these with a pair of rubber boots and you're good to go!

    Love it so far and have not noticed any real change in performance. It’s not as good as a roof mount, but I like the aesthetic of the location and the black antenna. The FTM-400XDR is my favorite VHF/UHF transceiver. Love the system fusion 2, but if they would do an update with DMR...

    Finally pulled my homemade carbon fiber power tray type fuse block relay mount of the mold last night only to discover i turned the vertical up like the part instead of down like it should have been for a mold. DOPE! Guess that's what happens when you drink six beers doing a one beer job. Damn you Hiwire Brewing and your tasty liquid bread products. Oh well. Time to build another mold.

    I meant to say not as good as a roof antenna, but I’ve hit our repeater from 30+ miles away
