I’m looking for an aftermarket skid plate instead of paying $390 for the OEM one. I don’t want it to interfere with maintenance though. I don’t want to make the guys at the Toyota shop mad when they change my oil. I have not changed anything to the front end of my truck so I need it to work with the stock bumper. Any ideas? By the way, I’m a disabled Vet and oil changes are not my thing anymore.

Dont worry, anything you do or dont do will make the techs mad...

But, check out victory4x4, they have some nice ones that come in steel or aluminum. There is a plate that you remove to do oil changes, this will prevent the tech from having to remove the skid plate.

My techs have never said a thing to me about mine. Have a look at this website, there's usually a couple of group buys during the year so you can save a few bucks.
