TRD 40th Anniversary sale

I got a call saying they’d probably be charging me more for shipping. I told them I entered a coupon code for free shipping and all he said was he’d get back to me on it.

 

I didn’t even input the code on my first order through Toyota South. It still showed free FedEx ground shipping to my address when I finalized my order and made payment. They emailed me saying they would have to charge shipping. I called them and they refused to honor my order, saying the TRDShip code is for Toyota Employees only and somehow got leaked to the public. My argument was that I never even input that code and it wasn’t my fault your system didn’t calculate shipping correctly. Oh well.

I canceled that order and placed one through another dealer for the wheels and oil filler cap about an hour ago. With the TRDShip code it showed a shipping charge of only $38.00. I can handle that, lets see what happens.

what dealerships are you guys buying from? in my area when i select part(trd skid plate) they all show regular price. thank you all!

I picked up my SEMA wheels from Sparks Toyota today. They have a large online sales department and were swamped with orders. They apparently had $40k worth of inventory delivered today, all from the TRD 40% sale.

 

I went into Tustin toyota this morning, and they had pallets of SEMA rims and stacks of skids going out. It was beautiful!

Well, set my calendar and no sale. Wtf is wrong with people not celebrating a 41st anniversary! Oh well, got my skid and wheels last year.

 

I picked up the TRD exhaust and CAI last year ... a couple of items I probably wouldn’t have purchased without the 40% off.

 

If I could run it back, I would have added the CAI and exhaust too. Completely agree that i would never buy those, but for the sale.

 

Guess we'll have to set our calendar reminders for their 45th in 2024. Although, if they don't celebrate that anniversary either we may have to wait until their 50th...ugh. I picked up a skid, pro sema wheels & shift knob last year. TRD sale last year, meso customs this year. I'm kinda relieved they didn't have a sale this year, who knows what I would have bought.
