Gents, I was being genuine with my questions about the extent of rubbing. I'd prefer to run 16"wheels and the offset is exactly what I need for my JBA UCAs and 255/85r16 tires

If you can provide your feedback about exactly what you encountered I would greatly appreciate it

So no rubbing on break calipers with 16x8 size, and no wheel spacers to gain clearance on brakes? Good to know!

I had these wheels on my 18 for a while. Close to the caliper, but did not touch. They were fine offroading also. Shameless plug... Need to sell mine with 6ply lt265/75r16 cooper at3 4s, about 7000miles on them. PM if interested! Mods delete my post if this isn't allowed!

How would that be possible..? Our brake calipers are fixed. The pads slide on pins on the calipers. It's possible there are rub with the chromed version..?

They are not. They are the classic Toyota truck 4 pot caliper with pins that hold the pads in place.

Got a set sitting in the garage. I'll throw a couple on the front and see if they interfere anywhere.

Can't decide if I want to throw my current tires on or go with something new. ST MAXX vs something with a sidewall more compliant than granite.

    Hey All,

I'm getting these put on right now. No caliper rubbing on my 2019, but they are very very close.

The lug nuts I have (the same I was using for my spacers) only catch about 4 threads on the studs. They are a generic acorn with tapered seat.

Did anyone have new studs pressed in or run into this issue?

    **EDIT

So the hole in the wheel is 0.629" ID.

I ordered these which should give me a better bite. According to the specs, they are 0.60 OD, should be nice and snug.

If I'm understanding this thread correctly, the 17x9 with -6 offset does not need spacers as it will not contact the caliper?

Awesome, appreciate the quick response. I'm about to buy the 17x9 with -6 offset and don't want to bother with spacers if I don't have to. Now to decide what tire to put on it that won't rub with 2" lift...
