Kinda makes those of us that have been waiting wonder what's going on... Placed my order Dec. 19th. Is that aluminum or powder coated white?

It’s just raw aluminum right now

Well that doesn't do much for my confidence. I have an aluminum one on order with full hoops.

Hey Zach, I'm guessing you have more on your order than just that front bumper. That is likely why your order hasn't shipped. probably waiting on product that needed to be built. I'd be happy to look into it for you, I'll shot you a PM with more info.

I installed a CBI Moab bumper in conjunction my Vagabond Outdoors Drifter. I have a 2015 Access Cab. I went with the aluminum option to keep the weight down and have been very happy with it. My only complaint is that the bumper leaves a 1” section of the front end exposed in the middle. But as you can see, you can’t see it from a distance. I had to cut the inner fender liners down a bit bit everything else fit great.

That 1” section exposed is because that bumper is the 2005-2011 model. You have a 2012-2015 front end

Thanks, good to know. That explains what it doesn't look like it quite fits.

I guess this requires a call to CBI. Their receipt only indicates that the bumper was for a 2005-2015 Tacoma. Item was ordered by my body shop as it was under an insurance claim.

Not exactly armor, but I got my overland bars in the other day! I ordered from Truck Brigade for the free shipping and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. The Prinsu rack took about 5 days to arrive and the overland bars took about 2-3 weeks. My only gripe would be with the packaging from CBI. My bars arrived with a couple dings and scratches in the powder coat but it's not the end of the world

No love from either CBI on this issue. I think I am stuck with the wrong bumper. CBI says that the web order might not have shown the specific year, but the follow up invoice to the auto shop did have the correct model. So, they put the monkey on my back. The problem is I only saw the web order and it looked fine.

I still think that CBI has an issue if the order receipt does not show the specific model you just spent $2000 for.

Buyer beware - Make sure your check the invoice and NOT the web order to confirm you have ordered the correct bumper model. CBI is not going to own up to it if my experience is any indication. It is a nice bumper, but it just doesn’t fit properly.

Anyone here have the T3 front bumper for 3rd gen with the low grill protection paired with a front cam? Kinda a specific question but I am looking to do my front cam install while waiting on my bumpers but don't want the grill bar to cover where I'm planning on mounting it...

@CBI Offroad Fab I'm looking at getting a set of sliders for my T3 sb and was wondering how many inches do the bolt on sliders with kickouts + top plates stick out? Thanks!

Anyone have any pictures of the Dakar bumper and a review of it? I’d love to see how it’s held up over time and how much it exposes. Not planning to run a winch at this time.

I have the 2nd gen. I think the alum bumper is quoted as 65lbs, but I also removed 20lb of plastic and old metal bumper. So, I think I am 45lb net increase. Amazing!

Have you hit anything with the bumper? My SOS aluminum feels like it will crumble if i hit something. My 2nd gen had a steel bumper, so going from steel to aluminum feels a bit weird. Im almost scared to hit anything
