Lol. Had the stall out issue happen twice while off roading, both times on super steep climbs.

Oh man! I was the only MT on a day trip. We were on a sweet trail winding through the woods and the guy leading us with a SWB GX got hung up on big ass root. After he got off, we bridged it with branches, dirt, and traction boards. I was next up and killed it in 4Lo. Peeps had a laugh.

Without sliders, I was taking it cautiously. In the end, it would have been the perfect test for CSC.

Not that time, but randomly I will have the hard restart after a stall. I can't recall it happening on the tunes because the stalls are quite rare other than my very first flash of FOB which was slightly problematic and it was stalling at least daily. The Resets in FM fixed that.

He will probably change his mind and offer 2.0 as an add on packaged to vF. Don't get your panties in a bunch, just be patient like 90% of us.

These like to crank for a long time when stalled, stock or OVtune. I’ve not tried cycling the key (perhaps it primes the low pressure fuel pump?), but flooring seems to help clear out the flood

I'm not so sure flooring it does anything.. Does the truck actually open the throttle in that situation?

Older EFI motors used to signal no injector flow if the pedal was wide open while cranking. Like you, I am not sure if that is still the case with the Taco, but it might be.

Not sure on the yota, i know modern Fords shut off the injectors. It seems to help, so i imagine it does (and i’ve stalled it a /lot/ :p

My first thought is that you should download techstream and update to 04B13. Other than that I answered your PM ;)

hey Tony, i did a thing with the Core. there was one #0131 shifter arm left on the internet, it's been discontinued for years, but is the only other Hurst arm that could fit in a good way. i think it just dialed me right in. last one from ebay and I think it's perfect.

    Nice find!

It pays to keep an eye out.

Too bad that back in the olden days, Hurst didn't make non-chromed shafts and metric hardware. Haha!

actually, to give credit where due, it was our old friend Chris Rinehart at Core who pointed me to it. Rick is still planning to cut another delrin ball and I'm good with that, just trying different things. the difference here is just about 3/4" of height. just details now.

Impressive. Does it sound like he is softening up at all about how he sells them? I just want the Core bit! :D

haha he talks if it's straight about the parts. but nowadays you have possibly a buyer's market with stuff, so you could always put it out there. if you do get the base then i would have a spare arm to design from.

Sounds good! I need to see where things head in the next couple weeks and make a decision. I am really happy with the current height, but offset left with the Core bracket and shaft stacked toward the left would be killer for me.

**I posted the same message in the AT forum**

Okay guys I’ve checked out the tune over the last year and have talked myself into buying soon, BUT I check the site and OVTune site and notice Matt is no longer doing the Tacoma tune package :/

So I’ve not had the time to research a lot, but is it still possible to get the tune somewhere (manual transmission)? Whether it’s new or from another TW member...
