    Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all staying healthy and safe amidst the pandemic!

I'm looking for recommendations/advice for a bull bar. Unfortunately, I've already installed a lower grille LED bar so I would'nt want to install an aftermarket bumper. So, I'm looking for something that can compliment the LED bar.

Any recommendation will be much appreciated! Thanks!

That’s a hybrid bumper and IMO the only way to do it. Bolt on bull bars look terrible.

Yeah that is a hybrid bumper. A bunch of different companies make them. Check out C4 Fab, Southern Style Offroad, SOS Concepts, Warn, or Mobtown Offroad. There are probably a few others I'm missing.

i think avid offroad makes just like a bolt on bullbar if you prefer bullbar to an actual low profile bumper

Don’t do a bull bar. Get a low pro front bumper of some sort. Anything but a bull bar

Also, they are slimline or low-profile bumpers. Hybrid bumpers are plates mixed with tubes...

    Low profile bumper it is!

I'm going for either SSO or SOS

Could you guys expand on your reasoning for this? Thought about adding something up front for protection and to make the truck look a little beefier. Outside of that, it won't serve much purpose other than looks. I'm not doing any off-roading or anything like that. I don't like the idea of messing with the truck too much so I was hoping for a bolt on and I don't want any lights on it so I was looking at some pretty basic black bull bars. Just curious... Thanks!

Bull bars don't protect in the event you actually hit something and would probably do more damage in a low impact situation. Plus they are ugly. My truck had one when I bought it, first thing I took off.

I think Bull Bars look terrible. Not sure how to expand on that. If you like them, get one. Don't let my opinion sway what you do to your truck.

I highly recommend the sos slimline, it's fantastic.

I think I'm leaning towards that one!

The southern style offroad bumper has that bar which I think cause more damage in low impact collisions as @six5creed mentioned above

BUT question, is the bar optional on the SOS slimline? (because, my LED bar would interfere).

Some pictures have one and others don't on the website (I tried calling them but no one answered).

If you just want it for looks, then bolt on bull bar is fine. Just realize it won’t add anything protection wise for an animal crash. I also don’t like the look but it’s not my truck. Do what you want!

The bull bar on low-profile bumpers (such as SSO or SOS) will not bend in a casual impact. Anything strong enough to bend them will be destroying your front end. When people call bull bars damage multipliers, they're talking about these...

    upload_2020-4-7_12-29-55.jpg

And yes, I think SSO and SOS will sell you a bumper without a bull bar.
